Grow in faith and love
If you’re looking for a youth group focused on showing the love of Christ to you, our church, and our community, then Aldersgate is for you! Our youth programs and events are for students in 6th-12th grade. All are welcome here.
Vision Statement: Aldersgate DE Youth Ministries’ vision is to be a safe space for youth to grow and share their faith.
Mission Statement: Aldersgate DE Youth Ministries’ mission is to gather together as a youth community in order to be discipled and gain the confidence to disciple others. We strive to deepen our knowledge of the Bible and develop a sustainable faith in Jesus Christ.
Youth Programs
Impact
Youth Group every Wednesday from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
For 6th-12th grade students
Join us every week for all kinds of fun games, fellowship, snacks, hang out time, bible study, and more! This is a safe space to build community and grow in your faith. All are welcome here and we would love to have you join us for youth group!
Youth Sunday School
Sunday School Class every Sunday from 10 a.m.-10:50 a.m.
For 6th-12th grade students
Led by Pam Downey and Sharon Owens
This group meets each week in the Student Ministry Center and explores a passage of scripture through interactive games, activities, and discussion. Join us as we grow our faith and develop friendships while having fun!
Confirmation
For 7th grade and up, sign-ups occur each Fall
Students in 7th grade and up have the opportunity to participate in classes and other elements of our Confirmation program in order to become full members of the church. Please contact Pam Downey for information.

Missions and Service
Serving others in love is at the heart of our Aldersgate DE Youth Ministries! Throughout the year we create and provide a variety of opportunities to serve the community around us and beyond. Each summer we participate in a week long service and mission trip to meet the deep needs of our world and demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ through our actions.
